Frequently asked questions
Short answers, with links to the full page.
Can it make up a fee or a deadline?#
No. Fees, entry requirements, intake dates and deadlines are read from approved records, word for word. Before a reply is shown, code checks that every number in it appears in your content or in the student's own message. If one doesn't, the reply is replaced with a decline and an offer of your team. See Why the assistant declines.
What if one of our records is wrong?#
Start a new version, have a colleague approve it, and the next answer uses it. The old version is kept in the record's history, so you can see what students were told and when. If you need answers to stop straight away, pause the agent first.
What happens when it can't answer?#
It says so plainly and offers to pass the student to your team. If they accept, a case opens in the right team's queue with the conversation attached. It doesn't guess.
Does it replace our officers?#
No. It answers the repeated questions so your officers have time for the ones that need a person: the applicant with an unusual qualification, the visa problem, the student who's worried. Those reach your team as cases.
Can it answer visa questions?#
Only from what you've approved. Visa-stage cases go to your Student visa team, and a student who seems distressed is passed to a person as a priority case.
How long does setup take?#
The technical part, adding the widget, takes minutes. Most of the work is gathering and approving your records. Institutions that start with their ten most-asked questions are usually live within a week. See Getting started.
Does the AI see students' personal data?#
No. Names, emails, phone numbers and ID numbers are replaced with placeholders before any model is called. See Security and privacy.
Does it help with PDPA?#
It's built to: masking before any model, encrypted contact details, retention you control, a record of every reveal, and a tracker for students' requests with due dates. Your own data protection officer should still review it against your policies.
Does it work with our website platform?#
Yes, if you can add a script tag to your pages, which almost every platform allows. See Add the widget.
Is it on WhatsApp?#
Not yet. Today it runs on your website. Tell us if other channels matter to you.
Can we try it first?#
Yes. The live demo runs on a made-up college. For a trial on your own content, email us.
